Utilize your expertise in job design and job classification, facilitation and consultation in a dynamic and challenging opportunity where you can really make a difference! In this key role, you will support and move forward major organizational change and address strategic human resource strategies.
Reporting to the Managing Consultant, you will be a resource to managers in consultations on change issues, and you will be required to draw upon broader principles of job design and job classification to incorporate proposals to resolve organizational change issues. You will be actively involved with other health care organizations and represent Fraser Health with HEABC or other third parties, industry committees, and have an ongoing role to resolve complex and inter-related disputes related to compensation work/design.
Specifically, you will:
• Provide consultation on compensation/work design issues including organization redesigns and related short and long term impacts.
• Provide advice regarding the consistent application and interpretation of various collective agreements.
• Approve resolves to classification grievances on behalf of Fraser Health by negotiating with provincial union representatives, provide advice to clients regarding grievance resolutions and identify associated costs.
• Develop and evaluate excluded jobs for Fraser Health.
As the successful candidate, you have a Bachelors Degree plus courses in Human Resources Management or a related field, and five years’ recent, related experience in human resources including job classification experience within a unionized environment.
