| We currently have an opportunity for a Community Mental Health Nurse, Intake in our Mental Health & Substance Use Program located in Burnaby, British Columbia. This position offers you the opportunity to: Provide care to individuals requiring specialized mental health services Administer intake psychiatric assessments, develop care plans and liaise with community resources to support both the patient and their family Perform crisis intervention and short-term treatment Develop mental health education resources and materials Function as a primary therapist within the multidisciplinary team To be the successful candidate, you will have: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or College of Psychiatric Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC) Recent two (2) years experience in community Mental Health Services Including one year of supervised practice in the area of community clinical assessment and short-term therapeutic skills (psychotherapy modality) Valid BC Class License and use of personal vehicle careers.fraserhealth.ca | facebook.com/fraserhealthcareers |
