Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services includes 10 functional portfolio groupings across the four organizations - Residential Care, Community Based Pharmacy Programs, Professional Practice and Education Programs, Medication Safety, Information Systems and Technology, Medication Use Management, Business Support, Pharmaceutical Purchasing, Pharmaceutical Production, and Drug Distribution Systems. An exciting opportunity awaits you as Manager, Pharmacy Production Services for Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services. In this challenging and diverse role, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the pharmacy operations at the Pharmacy Production Centre located in Vancouver including managing resources, organizing workflow and maintaining quality assurance for a safe medication distribution system. You will work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and leaders in order to ensure efficiency of operations, and determine priorities and processes to carry out LMPS initiatives, in collaboration with the Director, Pharmacy Services and the Regional Manager, Drug Distribution Systems & Production Services, and in accordance with the goals, policies and vision of the LMPS. As the successful candidate you have a Baccalaureate Degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Management or related field. You have graduated from a recognized Pharmacy Technician program, and have five years’ recent, related experience in a medication-related complex health system including a minimum of two years’ in a supervisory capacity.
