This position offers you the opportunity to: Bring your expertise in assessment and medical management of acutely ill frail seniors Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities in research and special projects Collaboratively works with the Emergency Team and Geriatrician to address care needs Provide education to health care professionals, clients and their families To be the successful candidate, you will have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) Recent 3 years related clinical experience in gerontological nursing including recent acute care experience 1 year leadership experience and familiarity with relevant Home Health programs Completion of post graduate specialty program(s) and/or Canadian Certificate in Gerontology Completion of a recognized advance program in Emergency Care Nursing Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate Valid BC drivers' license and access to a personal vehicle careers.fraserhealth.ca | facebook.com/fraserhealthcareers |
