| This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to bring your passion, skills and experience as a liaison and change agent, to devise strategies to ensure long term relationships and maximum utilization and uptake of electronic health information and technologies for Community and Primary Care at Fraser Health. Utilize your demonstrated leadership skills and expert knowledge of health informatics, business processes, technologies and applications in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as you: • Lead a project team in the implementation and operational support of physician EMR software in Fraser Health primary care clinics • Effectively liase with a variety of project teams and business leaders in a constantly changing environment with multiple priorities. • Translate business needs into application requirements based on a thorough knowledge of all components of project management processes and the systems development life cycle. As the successful candidate, you have a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field in Healthcare, and seven years of experience in the management of information systems in a medium to large sized organization including responsibilities for communications, planning, and development/operation of electronic health information within a complex information technology environment including at least three years experience in Project Management. Knowledge of physician EMR software such as Profile and experience leading the implementation and adoption of an EMR in a multi-disciplinary team context is preferred. Work with a busy consulting portfolio where you can utilize your expert project planning and management skills, and be part of a dedicated team of professionals.
